Animal Assisted Intervention
Kerstin works in the field of animal-assisted therapy with all so-called farm animals living on the farm. She likes to let the clients decide for themselves which animals they want to occupy themselves with.
If clients cannot come to the farm, there is also the possibility that Kerstin either makes house calls with selected animals or comes to care facilities. Our target groups are children and young people as well as older people with dementia.
When it comes to therapeutic riding, we work with a local physiotherapist and horse hostess. Depending on the clinical picture, we agree on the respective procedure in advance of a therapy unit.

Carriage rides
With our two carriage horses Annabell and Lilli we offer carriage rides around Weißig. Such country parties are particularly popular on birthdays, family celebrations or at school introductions.
Project days for daycare centers and primary schools
For most children it is very clear: milk, eggs, meat & Co. come from the supermarket. But where the eggs come from, for example, from which small chicks hatch, most tots only know from their picture books. That is why we have made it our business to open our courtyard gate for children of kindergarten and primary school age as well.
The aim is to provide the boys and girls with child-friendly and playful information about our animals. Letting you have haptic and emotional contact with ungulates, poultry and dog paws.
The very brave can ride the chickens over their feathers or hug them, stroke the ponies or clean or lead a large horse. In addition to a small tasting of sheep and goat products, at the end I offer a small quizz in which everything that has been heard and experienced is included. In this way, the little ones can call up their new knowledge and put it to the test.
If necessary, it is also possible to have a small lunch / snack.
